Charles Woolfe completes his Wye River Garvey Dory

Charles Woolfe just sent me these great pictures of his 16' [4.9 M] Wye River Garvey Dory.

I also included a copy of his Carpenter's Certificate. This is required in some places to register, like Alaska, and it servers as a Birth Certificate for your homebuilt boat. It'll also work with receipts to demonstrate that you built the boat, you didn't just fix up a boat you found floating in the weeds that wasn't originally registered to you.

I supply signed Carpenters Certificates to any boat builder who builds one of my boats and sends me photos and build notesof his project and requests such a certificate.

Jeff Crippen's Anacapa Offshore Pacific Power Dory Nearing Completion

Jeff Crippen, who is a pastor in Tillmook Oregon is just finishing up this Anacapa offshore-style Pacific Power dory. These are used for beach launching in the North Pacific to troll for Salmon, and fish for the large bottom fish, like Link Cod, in deep water rocky banks. He just started it this fall and it looks like it'll be ready for salmon season in the spring.
