Rail Bird Poling Skiff Completed in Alaska

Doug Neal from way up in Alaska just sent me these pictures of his newly built Rail Bird poling skiff. His email says:

Hi Jeff!

Attached is a photo of a rail-bird skiff that I recently completed. When the water on the creek in front of my cabin is really low, I use it for transporting gear from 20' Caladesi up to my cabin. It is a great little boat, nice, light and nimble, we really love it! Thank you for sharing the design with us!


The second picture is Doug's Caladesi, his main transport to his back woods home.
