I just received this email and note from a Maxi Miss Ultralight Skiff, from a builder in North Carolina:
Attached is the completed Maxi Miss I built from your plans. It rows very easily even with four adults on board! Although I'm looking for a small outboard to scoot me around the Currituck Sound (a pretty good sized body of water) a little more quickly.
Thank you for answering my many questions while building the craft.
I included a photo of the construction so you can see the ultra simple (and strong) plywood only, bonded seam, stitch-and-glue construction method.
Free study prints, and links to purchase plans for this Maxi Miss Ultralight Skiff may be found at: Maxi Miss Ultralight Skiff Boat Plans.

Please don't be embarrassed to send in photos of your projects. I get a lot of emails from people who tell me about their build but never send any pictures. I'd love to see them, as would all of the other people who are either building a boat or thinking about it. They need all the encouragement they can get.
