John English just sent me these photos and this video of his Anacapa Offshore Pacific Power Dory going through some testing on a calm lake. He also sent me this note:
I finally was able to get my Anacapa into a fresh water lake where there was some smooth water. It performed well handling was great and it topped out at 27 MPH at 6100 RPM on my F70 Yamaha. I have included a link to a video of the performance runs. At 5200 RPM the speed was 20 MPH at 4.9 GPH.
Thanks for a great boat design.

Please don't be embarrassed to send in photos of your projects. I get a lot of emails from people who tell me about their build but never send any pictures. I'd love to see them, as would all of the other people who are either building a boat or thinking about it. They need all the encouragement they can get.
