Boatbuilding Tips and Tricks

Just received this email:
Got in the water today, great fun little boat. We clocked 33 MPH with two adults in a light chop. If it was flat calm we would have been looking at nearer 40mph we think! We are using a 2 stroke Mercury/Tohatsu 30hp.
Handles very well up to about 25mph, after that turns are sliding out a bit. A set of fins on the outboard may improve this, even if it doesn't it would never be a problem.
All the best,
Great job Ben. It sure looks like a lot of fun!
