Mission Bay Ultralight Skiff Launched in Oregon

Eric Rush up in Oregon, sent me these pictures of his Mission Bay Ultralight Stitch-&-Glue skiff. Looks like he had a great time.

Dear Jeff,

I'm surprised my 75-year-old body enjoys rowing! We've had our Mission Bay skiff on the water only a few times so far, two small lakes, a slow-moving river, and this afternoon, We launched on Tillamook Bay where two rivers and several branching sloughs flow in. We rowed inland on the tide and turned back when the tide did, five miles total. Your skiff is very light and easy to row.

Great fun!

Eric

Eric also came up with an easy way to launch load his skiff from the back of his pickup truck. Since this boat is so light, it is easy.

I'd love to see them, as would all of the other people who are either building a boat or thinking about it. They need all the encouragement they can get.
